Intuitive Class-H Design
As with all Q series power amps, the Q1212 features a permanent voltage rail engineered to cover the average music signal as opposed to delivering voltage for the maximum output power. This process saves up to 50 percent of the regular power consumption experienced with most power amps and reduces the heat output drastically.
 
Dynamic Limiter
Built into the Q1212 are dynamic limiters designed to prevent dangerous clipping levels. This intuitive system reduces the amp gain when headroom is pushed too far at its maximum output to ensure distortion stays below 1 percent which can often damage woofers and drivers.
